Shflsm deftly tries to step into the gap consumerist space by offering an array of decorative choices for your first or second generation iPod Shuffle. Some are absolutely terrible, such as Gus the gay leather fetish gorilla, but the goldfish above is just wonderfully elegant and subtle.

Three comments on this: (1) step into the gap: I am more like drenched in the pool. (2) tries to: I am not trying anything. I create opportunities for things to happen. (3) consumerist space: I am tuned into the producer space as well, deftly.

Forget bulky rubber, silicone or rubber protective sleeves and cases - they're ugly, and who needs that? Besides, how much protection do you really need for your Shuffle? These cast vinyl stickers should protect your musical friend from scratching just fine, I imagine. And Dear Lord are they lovely.
